With a view also of including young people with visual impairment in the paralympic team, the Lamont Centre has collaborated with the local school for the blind in Cluj. Emese Maniu has formed a swimming team comprising 4 children: Ana Ciorap (16 yrs), Naomi Ciorap (13 yrs), Samuel Ciorap (15 yrs) and Cristina Todea (12 yrs).  With the help of the Technical University who have given them training facilities at the Cluj Olympic swimming pool  and Emese’s dedication,  we hope that they may qualify for London 2012.
